The Amish are well known for their skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. They still use woodworking and joinery techniques passed down form generations.

Each clock case is built utilizing premium quality hardwoods. This small Amish shop still builds each clock one at a time, hand assembled and finish in a small cottage based shop in Ohio.

Hermele known for their high end quality clock movements is also the oldest and largest producers of German quality clock movements in the world today. This means they also will have the best part availability. Franz Hermle founded the Franz Hermle Clock Company located in Gosheim/Wuerttemberg, Germany in 1922.

The Hermle key wound movement features a triple Westminster, Whittington and St. Michaels chime. Each clock comes with a two-year warranty on the clock movement.

The Ashery Mantel Clocks are reproductions of the popular Victorian Greek Temple influenced clocks from the 1800s. They feature a Greek temple front with columns supporting a full entablature. Ashery Mantel Clocks are available in black, red oak, and cherry. Clocks measure 11-1/2” tall, 17-1/2” wide and 6” deep.

The Buckeye wall clock uses a Seiko Precision Quartz battery operated movement with dual Westminster and Whittington Chimes. The clock is influenced by the traditional simple Western style and measures 24-1/2” tall, 13-3/8” wide and 6-3/4 deep.

Mission style clocks are available in a mantel or wall version. These are exact replicas using the same materials and wood craftsmanship used in Mission style furniture and accessories dating back to the late 1800s up through the early 1900s.

Most all Mission style furniture utilized the distinctive grain of quarter sawn white oak. The grain patterns in white oak, especially when it is quarter sawn form unique artistic patterns of flowing and swirling lines. As white oak became harder to obtain, the more abundant red oak was utilized and still utilized today.

Quarter sawn white oak is a premium hardwood used in more upscale items. Mission style and Arts and Craft Style are interchangeable to describe this period of furniture and accessories.

Mission style furniture items were influenced by a mixture of Moorish, Spanish, Spanish Colonial, Arts and Crafts, Native American, Japanese and Shaker. The word Mission originated from the Moorish Missions settled in California and the Southwest part of the United States.

During this period furniture used in the missions was large and bulky, but used very simple straight lines. As settlers moved west the original Mission design became influenced by the Craftsman style, which was then popular in England. This combined mixture is what became known as the popular Arts and Crafts Style Furniture movement. These craftsmanship focused on simple designs using natural patterns to draw out the aspects of nature’s best.

The Crawford wall clock provides a stunning focal point to any front entry or room. Measuring 47-1/2” tall, 19-1/4” wide and 9-3/4” deep the Crawford with its simple lines, crown molding top and large Lyre Harp Pendulum provides old world charm. The Elegance Wall Clock measures 51-1/2” tall, 19-3/4” wide and 10” deep. The clock case features beveled glass adding a touch-of-class to this stunning wall clock.

The Fresno measures 34” tall, 14-3/4” wide and 7-1/4” deep. The Fresno features a colonial sculptured door and top, with a stepped decorative bottom.

The Prominence measures 53” tall 17-1/2” wide and 8-3/8” deep. The Prominence features elegant beveled glass curved top door, sculptured French style top, a stepped decorative bottom, and glass side panels.

The Raptor measures 33-1/2” tall, 16-1/2”, and is 9” deep. The Raptor Features elegant beveled glass curved top door, with matching sculptured curved top, a decorative stepped bottom and glass side panels.
